South Central Railway Will Run Special Trains Ahead Of Sankranti

The South Central Railway (SCR) will run 32 special express trains ahead of the Makar Sankranti festival. However, these special trains will be running from January 7 to 27, 2024. Meanwhile, the SCR took the important step to clear the extra rush during the Sankranti festival season. The special trains will have general, sleeper, first class, 2AC, and 3AC coaches.

However, some of the special trains are Secunderabad-Brahmapur (train No. 07089), Brahmapur-Vikarabad (train No. 07090), Vikarabad-Brahmapur (train No. 07091), Brahmapur-Secunderabad (train No. 07092), Visakhapatnam-Kurnool City (train No. 08541), Srikakulam-Vikarabad (08547), Vikarabad-Srikakulam (08548), Secunderabad-Tirupati (02764), Tirupati-Secunderabad (02763), Secunderabad-Kakinada Town (07271), Kakinada Town-Secunderabad (07272), Secunderabad-Brahmapur (07093), Brahmapur-Secunderabad (07094), Narsapur-Secunderabad (07251), and Secunderabad-Narsapur (07251), etc. However, offline and online reservations are available for all these Sankranthi special trains.

According to the latest schedule, train numbers 02764 and 02763 will stop at Jangaon, Kazipet, Warangal, Mahbubabad, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, and Renigunta stations in both directions. However, train numbers 08541 and 08542 will stop at Duvvada, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Sattenapalle, Miryalaguda, Nalgonda, Malkajgiri, Kacheguda, Umdanagar, Shadnagar, Jadcherla, Mahbubnagar, Wanaparthi Rd., and Gadwal stations in both directions.
