Police Warn Against Drunk Driving Ahead Of New Year Celebrations
The Telangana police have warned against drunk driving ahead of New Year celebrations. The Rachakonda Police also issued strict guidelines and curbs in view of celebrations on New Year's Eve on December 31.
The Telangana police have warned against drunk driving ahead of New Year celebrations. In this regard, the Nizamabad Police have issued strict guidelines ahead of the New Year celebrations on December 31 on drunk driving and traffic limits in key spots. Additional DCP (Law and Order) Jai Ram said that a stringent action would be initiated against persons involved in law and order and traffic violations.
The Rachakonda Police also issued strict guidelines and curbs in view of celebrations on New Year’s Eve on December 31. The police said that the public should exercise caution and self-responsibility while driving on public roads, and cases will be booked for rash driving, drunken driving, overspeeding, excessive honking, and dangerous driving.
Light-duty vehicle passengers arriving at the Hyderabad airport are permitted to use ORR, provided they have valid tickets. For the safety of all users of the road, the Outer Ring Road (ORR) will be kept closed to light motor vehicles and passenger cars from 11 p.m. on December 31, 2023, until 5 a.m. on January 1.
