Telangana Police’s ‘SHE Teams’ conducted an awareness drive at various schools in Hyderabad on the occasion of National Girl Child Day. The ‘SHE Teams’ have initiated a combined effort by the Assistant Commissioner of Police and Inspector of Police of the SHE teams conducted a comprehensive awareness drive at various schools.
In fact, SHE Teams, a division of the Telangana Police, was founded on October 24, 2014. Meanwhile, the SHE teams’ common goal is to improve the safety and security of women and prevent child marriages in Telangana State.
In addition to that, these teams are engaged in round-the-clock surveillance of the city by mapping out hotspots and hot times where offenders pounce on unsuspecting victims. However, students from different schools actively joined in the awareness drive and showcased their enthusiasm and commitment.
SHE Teams also conducted interactive sessions to encourage open conversations about the challenges faced by girl children and the solutions that can be implemented together. In the same way, the work is done in small groups to arrest stalkers, harassers, and eve teasers, primarily in busy public areas of Hyderabad.
