Kanuma Gopuja Will Perform At SV Gosamrakshana Shala On Jan 16

The auspicious Kanuma Gopuja will perform at the Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshana Shala in Tirupati on January 16, 2024. In this regard, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) are making all necessary arrangements for performing the special gopuja at SV Gosala as part of the upcoming Sankranti and Kanuma festivities. In addition to that, special pujas like Gaja Puja, Aswa Puja, Vrishaba Puja, Tulasi Puja, Gobbemma Fete, and Sri Venugopal Swamy Harati will be performed at Sri Venugopal Swamy Sannidhi on this occasion.

After the special pujas, Laddu Prasadams will be distributed to devotees along with the Darshanam of Sri Venugopala Swamy. Meanwhile, Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshana Trust is established for protecting the cow and emphasizing the spiritual importance of the cow apart from its economic aspect. In addition to that, the Trust also aims to improve the living conditions of cows outside Goshala by providing technical inputs to the general public.

Bhogi Teru and Makarasankranti festivals will be performed on January 14 and January 15, respectively, at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati as part of the Sankranti festivities. According to the schedule, Sankranti Tirumanjanam is performed in the morning on the occasion of Makar Sankranti on January 15.
