Union Minister Rajnath Singh Joins NCC Republic Day Camp Parade
The union minister spoke on the importance of the NCC and said that in this competitive era, students aspire to achieve a lot of things in their lives.
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today joined the Republic Day parade camp conducted by the National Cadet Corps (NCC) in Delhi ahead of Republic Day. It is known that the nation observes Republic Day on January 26 every year to remember the day when the Constitution of India came into effect in 1950. Meanwhile, the NCC is the students’s wing of the Army, with a special focus on discipline, social skills enhancement, and adventure training.
Rajnath Singh lauded the NCC students after seeing their excellent performance today. He said that some of the cadets have come from distant villages, but any village in the country is not ‘distant’, and this is the mantra of ‘Shreshtha Bharat, Ek Bharat. He also said that he is confident that every cadet in the NCC is filled with strong dedication and talent.
The union minister spoke on the importance of the NCC and said that in this competitive era, students aspire to achieve a lot of things in their lives. He also spoke of a sense of pride and said that people like Chandrashekhar Azad killed himself with the last bullet in his revolver so that a British-made bullet would not enter his body and corrupt it, that is when India became independent.
