Union Minister Rajeev Unveils Digital India FutureLABS At IIIT Delhi
In fact, the Digital India FutureLABS was coordinated by C-DAC. It aims to tap into the trillion-dollar opportunity presented by the Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) sector.
Union Minister of State (MoS) for Electronics and IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar unveiled the ‘Digital India FutureLABS’ on Saturday. Rajeev is also the Union Minister of State (MoS) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and he addressed the ‘Digital India FutureLABS Summit 2024’. Meanwhile, the summit focuses on ‘Catalyzing Next-Generation Electronics System Design through Digital India FutureLABS.’
Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar stressed that India’s journey has transformed from being a consumer of technologies and a provider of talent for large technology companies worldwide for the last ten years to becoming a country where talent is certainly available.
The union minister said that the Digital India FutureLABS is the final piece of architecture for innovation being built by PM Modi since the Digital India program began in 2015. However, the summit also saw a declaration of 22 MoUs of C-DAC with industry for the implementation of futureLABS.
