Union Home Minister Amit Shah today paid floral tribute to the bravehearts of the Assam Rifles at the Shillong war memorial. Amit Shah visited the War Memorial at Headquarters Directorate General Assam Rifles in Shillong, Meghalaya, today, January 19. Meanwhile, the Union Home Minister is on a three-day visit to Assam and Meghalaya.
Union Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the Cyber Security Operations Center in Assam Rifles Headquarters at Laitkor in Shillong on Thursday. Shah spoke at the event and stressed that, under the leadership of PM Modi, Bharat is taking a quantum leap towards digitalization. Shah also said that the Modi government is committed to creating a cyber-successful society by making the internet secure for every citizen.
In addition to that, Ami Shah will join in several events, including the 61st Raising Day celebrations of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) at the SSB complex in Tezpur tomorrow, January 20. Shah will also join the 13th triennial conference of the All Bathou Mahasabha at Dhekiajuli in Sonitpur district on the same day.
Amit Shah will also join the passing-out parade of 2,551 Assam Police commandos at Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati. During the visit, Shah will also launch a book titled “Assam’s Braveheart Lachit Barphukan” at Srimanta Sankardeva International Auditorium in Guwahati.
