Amit Shah’s Son Jai Shah Likely To Become Chairman Of ICC
There is huge speculation on social media that he will soon take over the post of ICC Chairman. The issue is likely to be discussed at the ICC meeting to be held in Colombo on Friday, July 19.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s son, Jai Shah, is likely to become chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC), according to sources. It is known that Jai Shah is serving as the BCCI General Secretary.

Jay Shah was born to Amit Shah, who is the top leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, and Sonal Shah on September 22, 1988.
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) appointed Shah as president in January 2021. Shah was again re-elected as Asian Cricket Council (ACC) president in January 2024.
Jay Shah led BCCI’s record-breaking Indian Premier League (IPL) media rights deal, where the 5-year rights for the league were sold for a total of Rs 48,390 crore. In fact, it makes the IPL the second-most valued sporting league in the world after the National Football League.
Jai Shah married Rishita Patel, who is a college girlfriend, in a traditional Gujarati ceremony in February 2015.
