The Tamil Nadu govt announced festive benefits for ration card holders this Sankranti. Each eligible family will receive ₹3,000 in cash along with a special Pongal hamper. The gift pack includes 1 kg of raw rice, 1 kg sugar, a full-length sugarcane, free dhoti and saree, plus cashew nuts, raisins, and cardamom, spreading joy and traditional celebrations.
