SC Takes Suo Motu Notice Of Advocate Attack

Supreme Court has taken suo motu cognisance of an alleged brutal attack on a woman lawyer, noting serious injuries treated at AIIMS. A bench led by CJI Surya Kant ordered a senior woman officer-led probe, traced children’s custody issues, and directed NALSA to consider compensation. It also sought a report on alleged hospital denial of treatment.
