PM Modi Will Unveil First Hindu Temple In Abu Dhabi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil the first Hindu temple, BAPS Mandir, in Abu Dhabi on February 14, 2024. The ministry of external affairs stressed on Saturday that PM Modi will visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on a two-day tour from February 13 to 14, 2024.

According to government sources, it will be PM Modi’s 7th visit to the country since 2015 and his third visit in the last eight months. During the visit, PM Modi will also address the Indian community at an event in Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The ministry of external affairs has issued a statement that PM Modi will conduct crucial bilateral meetings with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Both leaders will discuss ways to strengthen the bilateral strategic partnership and will also exchange views on regional issues.

It is known that the two countries are top trading partners among each other, with a two-way trade of $85 billion during 2022–23. In fact, the UAE is one of the top four investors in India in terms of foreign direct investments during 2022–23.
