JP Nadda, the president of the BJP, criticized the opposition and called them “jokers.” He was responding to the TMC MP’s impersonation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar on the grounds of Parliament.
Nadda added, “The public sends MPs to Parliament for discussions and debate,” while addressing the crowd in Basti, Uttar Pradesh. However, they become jokers.”
Rajnath Singh, the minister of defense, also denounced the opposition act. He referred to Jagdeep Dhankhar, the chairman of the Rajya Sabha,’s impersonation as a “black stain” on Indian democratic traditions.
Singh posted on X, saying, “TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi have shamefully insulted the Vice President of India and Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, Jagdeep Dhankhar ji.” This represents a dark stain on democratic traditions in India.”
