The recent assembly by-election results across seven states have painted a complex political landscape, with the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the opposition INDIA alliance, comprising parties like the Congress, Trinamool Congress, DMK, and Aam Aadmi Party, vying for control of key constituencies.

Bihar’s Rupauli assembly bypoll saw over 57% of the electorate exercise their franchise, with the outcome closely watched by political observers.
In Madhya Pradesh, the Amarwara (ST) seat was considered a stronghold of senior Congress leader Kamal Nath until recently, making the result in this constituency particularly significant. Tamil Nadu’s Vikravandi assembly constituency witnessed a high voter turnout of 82.48%, with the ruling DMK’s candidate Anniyur Siva (alias Sivashanmugam A) competing against PMK’s C Anbumani and Naam Tamilar Katchi’s K Abinaya.
