French President Thanks PM Modi For Republic Day Invitation

French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed his visit to India as Chief Guest at Republic Day celebrations next year. He thanked PM Modi for the invitation.

Earlier, the MEA said that Macron would be attending the 75th Republic Day celebrations. French President Emmanuel Macron has been invited as a chief guest for the Republic Day event on January 26, 2024.

This invitation comes after US President Joe Biden missed the Republic Day invitation. France and India have developed their strategic partnership over the years. Earlier this year, PM Modi visited France, where he was the Guest of Honor at the Bastille Dat Parade in Paris.
