However, the second list includes 13 seats from Assam, 10 seats from Madhya Pradesh, 10 seats from Rajasthan, 7 seats from Gujarat, 3 from Uttarakhand, and one seat from Daman and Diu.
The Congress party today declared 43 candidates in its second list for the upcoming 18th Lok Sabha polls. Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal revealed the second list of 43 candidates.
However, the second list includes 13 seats from Assam, 10 seats from Madhya Pradesh, 10 seats from Rajasthan, 7 seats from Gujarat, 3 from Uttarakhand, and one seat from Daman and Diu.
Out of the 43 candidates on the Congress’s second list, 10 are general candidates, 13 OBC candidates, 10 SC candidates, 9 ST candidates, and 1 Muslim candidate. Recently, Congress declared its first list of candidates for 39 Lok Sabha seats.
Meanwhile, the second meeting of Congress’s Central Election Committee (CEC) was conducted at the All India Congress Committee’s (AICC) headquarters in Delhi on Monday. However, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge has chaired the meeting.
