No Liquor Shops Near Schools: Bengal CM

West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari announced a ban on liquor shops near schools and religious places to improve social environments. He also introduced a subsidized “fish-rice meal” scheme for just Rs 5 to support the poor. Additionally, Adhikari promised 200 units of free electricity for households and free medical treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.
