Congress Chief Kharge Accuses Centre Of Crude Oil Prices
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge accused the central government of not reducing the prices of petrol and diesel even when crude oil prices were falling worldwide.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge accused the central government of not reducing the prices of petrol and diesel even when crude oil prices were falling worldwide. Kharge slammed today that there is no control over the looting of the central government. He also claimed that oil companies in the country are earning Rs 8 to Rs 10 profit on every liter of petrol and Rs 3 to Rs 4 profit on diesel from the public.
Kharge stressed today that the price of crude oil has reduced by 31% in 19 months, but the concerned union minister says there will be no reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel. He also attacked the Union government over reports that the Center was looking into notifying the rules of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). However, he said the CAA, since it was proposed, has seen widespread protests across the country.
Congress Rajya Sabha MP Jairam Ramesh stressed that the Modi government bulldozed the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act in Parliament in December 2019. In addition to that, Congress MP Manish Tewari said that the constitution of India, by its very design, is secular in nature. He also said the implementation of the Citizenship Act would be completely constitutionally immoral.
