CM Dhami Urges Centre To Extend Deharadun-Lucknow VB Train To Ayodhya
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today urged the central government to extend the Dehradun-Lucknow Vande Bharat train service to the holy city of Ayodhya.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today urged the central government to extend the Dehradun-Lucknow Vande Bharat train service to the holy city of Ayodhya. In this regard, CM Dhami urged Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw ahead of the grand consecration ceremony of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir on January 22, 2024.
Earlier, the Indian Railways declared that it would run more than 1,000 express special trains from different areas of the country to accommodate devotees visiting Ayodhya during the first 100 days of the auspicious Ram Mandir. According to the latest schedule, these special trains will begin operating on January 19, 2024, just a few days ahead of the consecration ceremony, and the trains allow devotees to travel to and from the holy city, Ayodhya.
CM Dhami stressed that the travel from Uttarakhand to Ayodhya will become very much easier for the people of the Uttarakhand state as well as the devotees coming to Devbhoomi with the extension of the Dehradun-Lucknow VB train untill Shri Ayodhya Dham. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off two new special Amrit Bharat trains and 6 new Vande Bharat trains from Ayodhya Dham Station in December 2023.
