Senior BJP leader Manoj Tiwari flagged off a special train to Ayodhya Dham from Old Delhi Railway Station on Friday. Tiwari stressed that all arrangements have been made by the BJP workers so that passengers don’t face any issues. At least 1,504 devotees boarded the special train.
The BJP MP Manoj Tiwari highlighted that Lord Sri Ram has come to the Ayodhya temple after 500 years, and several trains from New Delhi are bound for Ayodhya Dham. Earlier on Friday, the ‘Aastha Special Train’ witnessed a huge number of devotees departing for Prabhu Ram’s abode from Jalandhar.
Interestingly, the Indian Railways is planning to run more than 200 Aastha special trains from various places to Ayodhya since the Ram Temple was inaugurated on January 22, 2024. According to sources, each Aastha train comprises 20 sleeper coaches, and each train can accommodate 1,400 passengers.
It is known that Manoj Kumar Tiwari is a senior politician and is currently serving as a Member of Parliament from the North East Delhi Parliamentary constituency. In the 2009 Lok Sabha polls, Tiwari contested as a Samajwadi Party candidate from Gorakhpur Lok Sabha but lost to Yogi Adityanath. However, Manoj Kumar Tiwari is also a great singer and actor.
