Amid the ongoing political battle in Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has taken a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party and challenged that the Saffron Party will not win even 15 seats in the present Assembly elections.
Baghel’s comments came after the former CM and state BJP leader, Raman Singh, exuded confidence in the BJP’s victory in the state after the first phase of elections on November 7.
Voting has taken place in 20 assembly seats. The BJP is winning at least 14 seats out of 20 on which voting is taking place in the first phase.”
Reacting to Raman Singh’s comments, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel hit out at the BJP and said that the saffron party will not win even 15 seats in the state assembly polls. Baghel said, “Even when Raman Singh’s popularity was at its peak, he did not surpass 52 seats. Now, how can they expect to win 55 seats?”
