Nirmala Sitharaman Defends Budget Bonanza For Bihar

FM Nirmala Sitharaman defended the Budget bonanza for poll-bound Bihar. She emphasized that the eastern state was “long waiting” for development. She also said that the proposals should not be seen through a political lens. Sitharaman said, “If you do anything during the 5-year period, it is bound to be viewed through a political lens. Budget proposals are a broader part of PM’s Purvodaya plan.”
