The BJP government led by Suvendu Adhikari is set for a key Cabinet expansion in West Bengal today. Around 35 BJP MLAs are expected to be sworn in as ministers during a special ceremony at Lok Bhavan scheduled for 11 am. Bengal Governor RN Ravi will administer the oath of office and secrecy, completing the formation of a full-fledged Council of Ministers.
