A 20-year-old woman, Manita Singh, was arrested at Ballia railway station in Uttar Pradesh for carrying 750 live cartridges of .315 bore. Acting on a tip-off, police searched her trolley bag during a train journey to Chhapra, Bihar. Singh revealed she was to deliver the cartridges to someone, having received them from a man named Ankit Pandey. A case has been registered.
