Two Delhi Police Officers Died In Car Accident In Sonipat
Two Delhi police officials were killed after their car collided with a canter (truck) near the Kundali border in Sonipat, Haryana, late last night. Police officials said that the two victims were identified as inspector Dinesh Beniwal, who was posted in the North West District Special Staff, and ATO Inspector Ranveer, who was posted at the Adarsh Nagar police station.

The accident took place when both officials were traveling together in their car at around 11 p.m., according to police personnel. The cops car collided with the canter, and both got stuck inside the vehicle and later died. Their car was also completely destroyed.
After the initial investigation, officials said that the pair’s car collided with the parked truck, which they could not see due to dense fog. The accident occurred when they were returning to their Sonipat homes in a personal car. A senior Haryana Police officer said that the bodies have been sent for a post-mortem.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan recorded a minimum temperature between 4 to 8 degrees Celsius today.
According to the bulletin, a sharp cold front passed through Rohtak, Haryana, with a low temperature of 6.7 degrees Celsius. Yesterday, fog across Punjab and Haryana also continued to make it difficult to see in several areas.
