The Tamil Nadu government has announced a holiday for all government offices, public sector undertakings, schools, and colleges on November 1, following Deepavali. This decision aims to assist students, parents, teachers, and government staff traveling to their hometowns for the festival. To offset this holiday, November 9 will be designated as a working day, as per an official statement.
