Kia India has announced that pre-launch bookings for the highly anticipated Kia Carnival 2024 will open on September 16. This luxury multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) is set to make its debut on October 3. Prospective buyers can book the Carnival 2024 with a minimum amount of Rs 2 lakh, either at Kia dealerships nationwide or through the official Kia website.
The new Kia Carnival will be introduced in India as a completely built-up (CBU) model. It boasts an impressive array of features, including second-row luxury powered relaxation seats with ventilation and leg support, a one-touch smart power sliding door, dual sunroofs, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, a dual panoramic curved display with a 12.3-inch CCNC infotainment system, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, and Level-2 ADAS with 23 autonomous features.
The India-spec Carnival is expected to come with a 2.2-litre diesel engine, similar to its predecessor, offering 200PS and 440Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The expected price of the Kia Carnival 2024 is around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price point, the luxury MPV will have no direct rivals. Previously, the Carnival saw sales of over 14,500 units in the Indian market.
In addition to the new Carnival, Kia will also launch the EV9 electric SUV on October 3.
