India Set To Lead AI Advancements At IMC 2024 In New Delhi

The world is witnessing rapid advancements in these technologies, and India aims to leverage them for social and economic progress.
In line with this vision, India will host the World Telecom Standardization Assembly (WTSA-2024) alongside the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2024 in New Delhi. Scheduled for October 15-18, IMC 2024 will feature over 50 speakers discussing various facets of AI and GenAI across 11 sessions. A special daylong session, “AI for Good,” will allow global experts to deliberate on AI’s positive impact.
Ramakrishna P, CEO of IMC 2024, emphasized India’s crucial role in technological evolution, aiming to generate a comprehensive thought paper on AI. The event will cover diverse topics, including quantum technology, the circular economy, 6G, cloud computing, IoT, and cybersecurity.
Additionally, the startup program ‘Aspire’ will spotlight over 140 startups focusing on AI applications across various industries. Participation from more than 15 ministries will also showcase how AI is being integrated into government departments, highlighting India’s commitment to innovation and progress in the tech landscape.
