The Election Commission announced that no repolls are needed for the first phase of voting in West Bengal. Officials stated that elections at over 44,000 stations were largely peaceful with no major disruptions. A record 92.6% turnout was recorded across 152 constituencies. Scrutiny is ongoing as the state prepares for the second phase on April 29.
