Delhi Records Rise in Temperature, Heatwave Likely Ahead

Delhi’s minimum temperature rose slightly today as the IMD issued a yellow alert, warning of possible heatwave conditions in isolated areas. Safdarjung recorded 25.2°C, while Palam, Lodhi Road and Ayanagar also saw increases. IMD said heatwave conditions may occur locally with surface winds of 15-25 kmph. Maximum temperature is likely to stay at 40-42°C.
