No HSRP? UP Warns Of Rs 10,000 Penalty For Vehicle Owners

Uttar Pradesh has enforced strict rules linking HSRP with PUC certificates. Vehicles without High Security Registration Plates will not get PUC, making them illegal to drive. Owners may face fines up to Rs 10,000. The rule mainly targets older vehicles, aiming to improve  compliance, curb fraud, and strengthen road safety enforcement.
