The rupee weakened by 9 paise to 94.94 against dollar today as rising tensions between Israel and Lebanon and higher crude oil prices weighed on market sentiment. After opening at 94.93, the rupee slipped further during the early trade session. Despite gaining 73 paise in the previous session, external pressures have once again impacted the domestic currency.
