A truck carrying Afghan refugees from Pakistan overturned in Laghman province, Afghanistan, killing 22 people and injuring around 36, mostly women and children. Officials said the driver fell asleep, causing the crash. Victims were taken to nearby hospitals. The passengers were among thousands recently returning amid migrant crackdowns in Pakistan and Iran.
