Baba Siddique’s Son Joins Ajit Pawar’s Team After Being Expelled From Congress

Zeeshan Siddique, son of the late ex-Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, joined the Ajit Pawar-led faction of the NCP on Friday morning, shortly before the state Assembly elections. Expelled from Congress in August, Siddique will contest the Vandre (East) seat he won in 2019 against Varun Sardesai. He expressed gratitude to Ajit Pawar and others for their support during this emotional time.
