West Asia War: Aviation Faces ₹18,000 Cr Loss Shock

The ongoing West Asian war has severely impacted India’s aviation sector, leading to losses of around ₹18,000 crore, as per the ICRA and PHDCCI. Tourist arrivals have dropped by 15%, while flight cancellations, rerouting, and airspace restrictions have disrupted operations. International travel times on major routes have also increased by 2-4 hours.
