Stock Markets Start Day With Narrow Losses

Indian stock markets began today’s session on a subdued note, with BSE Sensex slipping 12.55 points to 77,976.13 and Nifty 50 declining 30.85 points to 24,165.90. The rupee traded near 92.70 against US dollar. Sectoral trends were mixed, as Oil & Gas, FMCG, Realty and Media gained, while IT, Metals and Financial Service sectors witnessed profit booking.
