Greenland Glacier Flood Releases 3,000 Billion Litres Of Meltwater

A massive glacial lake outburst flood in East Greenland released over 3,000 billion litres of meltwater, marking one of the largest such events recorded. Triggered by the release of Catalina Lake into Scoresby Sound fjord, the flood dropped the lake’s level by 154 metres.
