The first phase of the West Bengal Assembly electionshas begin today across 152 seats in north, west and parts of south Bengal. The remaining 142 constituencies will vote on April 29, with results on May 4. The main contest is between TMC led by Mamata Banerjee and BJP, along with Suvendu and Adhir Ranjan, intensifying the political battle.
