Humayun Kabir of the Aam Janata Unnayan Party (AJUP) asserted he is no one’s B-team as voting began in the first phase of West Bengal Assembly polls across 152 constituencies in 16 districts. He also accused the All India Trinamool Congress of ticket selling, claiming voters will respond strongly. The phase witnessed tight security and voter participation.
