Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said the Islamic Republic will not reopen the Strait of Hormuz while a US naval blockade remains in place. Calling it a “blatant violation of the ceasefire,” he stated that a complete ceasefire is meaningful only if no blockade exists, making reopening the strait impossible under current conditions.
