West Bengal Phase 1 Voting Hit By EVM Glitches

EVM malfunctions were reported at multiple polling booths in West Bengal during phase one of voting. Issues included non-working machines in Kandi Block’s Kumarsanda (Booth 19), Chanchal 1 in Malda’s Motiharpur (Booth 211), and Kalchini’s Mendabari in Alipurduar (Booth 205). Election officials are addressing the technical problems at affected sites.
