The controversial Tamil film ‘Bad Girl’, starring Anjali Sivaraman and directed by Varsha Bharath, faced backlash over its portrayal of the Brahmin community. Released on September 5, it underperformed commercially. Produced by Vetri Maaran and Anurag Kashyap, the film will stream on Jio Hotstar from November 4 in multiple languages.
