Pollution Is A ‘Pan-India’ Issue: Supreme Court

Supreme Court called the pollution a “pan-India” issue. It also asked the government to submit a list of highly polluted cities. The court said a machinery similar to Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) should be created for all states. “We will expand this issue pan India. We should not give a wrong signal that we are only dealing with air pollution in Delhi,” the court said.
