3 Convicted In Connection With Conspiracy To Terror Attack During Obama’s India Visit

A special NIA court in Bengaluru convicted 3 suspected terrorists. They were convicted in connection with a conspiracy of a terror attack during Barack Obama’s visit to India in 2015. Court found that- Syed Ismail Afak, Abdul Saboor and Saddam Hussein – were planning to carry out blasts on January 26, 2015 during Obama’s visit. It acquitted two other accused, Riyaz Ahmed and Zainulbuddin.
