The Telangana government announced a significant hike in minimum wages across four skill categories, effective June 1, 2026. Monthly pay will now range from ₹16,000 for unskilled workers to ₹20,000 for highly skilled workers. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that this decision account for inflation and will directly benefit 1.11 crore workers.
