When the YSRCP government was in power in Andhra Pradesh, liquor supply companies had increased the basic prices. However, after the NDA government took charge in the state, these companies reduced their prices. Around 11 companies have lowered their basic prices, with the MRP of each quarter being reduced by ₹30, depending on the brand.
