BJP’s Pravesh Wahi Becomes Delhi Mayor, Monika Pant Named Deputy Mayor

BJP councillor Pravesh Wahi from Rohini East has been elected Mayor of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi with 156 votes, supported by 14 Indraprastha Vikas Party members. Congress candidate Hazi Zaraf secured nine votes. BJP’s Monika Pant from Anand Vihar was elected Deputy Mayor, also winning 156 votes in the civic body election.
