20 Railway Stations In Andhra Pradesh Get ISO Certificates
At least 20 railway stations in Andhra Pradesh got ISO certificates. Vijayawada Divisional Railway Manager Narendra Patil handed over the prestigious ISO 14001:2015 certificates to the railway station in-charges and health inspectors of all 20 railway stations on Friday.
Andhra Pradesh received ISO certification for at least 20 of its train stations. On Friday, the 20 railway stations’ health inspectors and station in-charges received the esteemed ISO 14001:2015 certificates from Vijayawada Divisional Railway Manager Narendra Patil. Patil greeted and praised the personnel of every station on this special occasion.
In the meantime, the Vijayawada Railway Division is in charge of all 20 railway stations. Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli, Gudivada, Bhimavaram Town, Bhimavaram Junction, Narasapur, Kakinada Town, and Kakinada Port are among the 20 railway stations, according to the most recent data.
Speaking at the event, Vijayawada Divisional Railway Manager Narendra Patil stated that the re-certification of 20 railway stations for ISO 14001:2015 accreditation for an additional three years, until 2026, is a source of pride for the Vijayawada Division. For 20 railroad stations, these ISO 14001:2015 certificates were acquired in 2019–20. The management department responsible for the environment and housekeeping has taken the lead in organizing efficiently and conducting successful internal audits. All of the parameters must, however, be kept well within the CPCB’s specified guidelines.
