In Truck-Bus Accident, at least 12 people were killed and 25 others injured in Golaghat, Assam this morning. Over the accident police officials said that the accident took place in the Balijan area near Dergaon in Golaghat district at around 5 am this morning.
In Truck-Bus Accident, at least 12 people were killed and 25 others injured in Golaghat, Assam this morning. Over the accident police officials said that the accident took place in the Balijan area near Dergaon in Golaghat district at around 5 am this morning. The officials also said that the bus was carrying a team was going towards Tilinga Mandir from the Kamarbandha area of Golaghat district.
Rajen Singh, Superintendent of Police of Golaghat said that the bus was collided with a truck in the Balijan area and the truck was coming in the opposite direction from Jorhat’s side. He also said that 10 bodies were recovered from the site and sent to Dergaon CHC. The injured 27 people were shifted to nearby hospital.
In the injured two people were succumbed to their injuries, Rajen Singh added. After hearing the information immediately rescue teams and locals rushed to the site and engaged in rescue operations. Rajen Singh said, “Our investigation is on and we will take action as per law.”
