Former Miss India Put On Digital Arrest, Duped Of ₹99,000

A former Miss India winner fell victim to cyber fraud. Scammers posed as CBI officers put her on ‘digital arrest’ for nearly two hours. She was forced to transfer ₹99,000 to them. Shivankita Dixit, a Femina Miss India 2017 winner, lives in Agra with her family. She recently received a call from a person claiming to be a CBI officer. He accused her of money laundering and human trafficking.
