Tirumala Temple: Devotee Rush Continues To Pilgrim Peak
According to the TTD, a total of 76,104 devotees took darshan, and 32,412 devotees were tonsured on Friday. TTD also revealed that Tirumala Hundi got 2.92 crore in income on January 27.
A huge rush of devotees continued for Sarvadarshan at Tirumala temple in Tirupathi today, January 28, 2024. Meanwhile, Srivaru devotees without the SSD tokens will have to wait 24 hours for Sarvadarshan, and all 32 compartments have been filled so far.
According to the TTD, a total of 76,104 devotees took darshan, and 32,412 devotees were tonsured on Friday. TTD also revealed that Tirumala Hundi got 2.92 crore in income on January 27.
On the other side, the annual 7-day Teppotsavam of Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple will be performed from February 17–23, 2024, wherein the deities bless devotees and also parade on Mada streets during the period.
All details of the annual 7-day Teppotsavam festival are scheduled as per date. On February 1, Sri Kodandarama Swamy, on February 18, Sri Parthasarathi Swamy, and on February 19, Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy.
In addition to that, on February 20 – Sri Krishna Swamy along with Sri Andal Ammavaru, and on February 21, 22, and 23 – Sri Govindarajaswami. According to the TTD, the artists of HDPP and Annamacharya projects will perform bhajans, harikathas, and bhakti sangeets on all 7 days.
